Holly crap theres been a lot of reply since I last checked this thread. Thanks again for the compliments.

Once again I traded the car in back in Feb. If the car wouln't have been yellow and had cruise I would probably still have it, along with a big turbo . So I have no idea how its doing. If anyone in MN bought a 03 yellow EVo from a dealership you may have a 2.3L in what looks like a otherwise stock car.

To answer a few of the question I caught. I used the stock valvetrain with GSC 264/272 cams. I reved it to the stock revlimit. I didn't use a 4g64 block because i already had the stock block in good shape, and didn't plan to rev the car much past the stock redline. And i'm cheap

I have had a few people ask me about the balance shaft removal. I would do it on any 4g63 I built and will continue to. THe effect of having the shafts is so little its not worth having the extra belt to break on you. Heres the link to the removal procedure and the part numbers.
