Thanks for the compliments The car was a blast to drive, and knowing I built the engine myself makes it even better.

However I traded the car in on a really clean 01 Ford Lightning. I have always wanted a lightning and I figured this was my chance to get one, and I was getting tired of getting attention from the popo simply because I was driving a bright yellow car with a big spoiler. Plus I still have my Talon with a built 2.4L and upgraded everything else.

man thats sweet. im planning on building my motor like this. im trying to build an autoX torque monster. this time next year is when i hope to be done. definatly will be using this thred.

great job. With cams/valvetrain upgrade and a balanced rotating assmbly how high do you think you could rev it? id leave it at 7000 on the stock turbo but once i go to a green i want to take it to about 7700 - 8k do you think it could stand up to it?

I just finished dropping my 2.3L a few hours ago and called it a day for now. People may criticise you for selling it, but if it makes you feel any better I'm thinking of selling mine as well and building a boosted IS300 or a turbo GTO. I owned it for only a few months before a main bearing let loose. I got so pissed that I lost interest it.
