What direction should I take now??

Ok so I want

#1 Lower spool time (Most important!!!)
#2 More low end power
#3 Get tourqe close to hp numbers

And be cost effective!

I want to road race primarilly, not into dragging so much. I bought the car w/ the big mods working on supportive stuff. I have the ATP stealth GT3076R kit (uses stock header) custom 2.5 to 2.25" Licp to stock I/C, custom 3" intake w/ MAF and KandN filter, 272 HKS cams (I think, were on the car before) Forge unos MBC and RS BOV, custom 3" Downpipe, 3" resonator, 3" LPI exhaust (strait through design) Tial ext waste gate 38mm.

Dyno in this thread about 1/2 way down

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=197419

I made 350 whp and 302 wtq at buscher Mustang Dyno on 21.5 Psi on 93 oct stock Ecu. Power starts at about 3800 rpm Full at 4200 or so and climbs hard all the way to rev limiter (8000 rpm)

Ideas so far
Alky. New cams. Port polish header. Port polish head and build for more RPM's (power still climbing at 8000 Rpms) Bigger I/C (increase spool time???) Get rid of turbo and go smaller 50 trim? Stroker (not cost effective!)

264 cams would probably help a little bit. Also, don't know if you have a cat on there at all...with it off a few hundred rpm spool difference can be expected. Can't really be sure if an ic would help because i have heard mixed reviews but you have a decent size turbo so i would think it would help you out but not as much as you would be looking for.A 3071r would help with the spool as well as any other smaller turbo(tme,20g9-5), it just depends on what you want to lose up top. I believe there were complaints about the adapter issue and the slow spool with their kit, it doesn't seem to hurt you as much as many would think.

If you are road racing the higher spool times won't matter so much because you will be in the upper RPMs the whole time. You can't do much better as far as bigger turbos go than what you have, with respect to spool time. Stick with it and adjust your driving style accordingly. A larger FMIC will definitely help out on the track, but alchy would not last very long with sustained periods at WOT. And definitely ditch the cat.

no cat, just a resonator, I wanted to quiet the exhaust a bit.

cam gears can be adjusted to help spool up

bigger IC shouldn't hurt spool too much, but will let you run more boost and keep temps down while racing.

stroker kit is probably your best bet, especially in terms of torque / spool but won't be cheap and you won't be able to rev as high, so the extra power you have up top may be lost because you can't rev high enough to get it.

A good head will probably give you a lot more power, but wont affect spool very much if done properly.

Definitely get the intake manifold, exhaust manifold, and throttle body ported.

busher LICP is real cost effective it makes the turbo spool 300-500rpms sooner..im with you on the tourqe except i want to keep mods minimal like drop in , licp and mabe a hiflow with a local AMS tune...

Alky
Get a new turbo(20G9 for spool up or wait for new 20G(500whp on BR dyno) or 50 Trim)

about the licp I had to have one custom welded due to the turbo and stock FMIC. So the buscher will not fit.
