the RMR uses the stock donut - and its one long smooth section of 3" pipe -no cuts or welds - I did not know RMR made such a wonderful product - but its really first rate stuff

Its too bad with the super nationals the track will be closed down all week - - maybe if I am super ambitoius I will make it to ATCO but I hate those hicks - I will prob just wait two weeks and go to etown

Well let me know how super ambituous you might be, because I think there's a small event at Atco next Sunday. I might run.

I'll say. It was humid as hell yesterday when I went to the track to tune my safc. I ran 13.5's all day with 103 mph trap speeds. I should have ran low 13's with that. Oh well, maybe next time.

I guess it does kinda suck to be in FL (at least in this respect).
I might be driving down to South Beach for Memorial Day weekend. Maybe I'll try the Evo out at a drag strip in FL. Not trying to be left down there with no clutch though, hehe.

Ill take the heat and slow track times to avoid winter anyday

The nearest track to South Beach is Moroso in West Palm Beach.

My best guess (based on running at the track) is that an N/A car picked up about 4 tenths when the weather changed from mid 90's to mid 50's.

A turbo car will probably be even more suseptable to the weather, especially if the intercooler is on the small side.

I think this car needs to go back on the dyno for tuning, as the SAFC maps I have aren't tuned for the 3".

Need more power.
I have to agree with Incognito. The Ultimate Racing 3" is one badass turbo-back! I had mine installed by them as they're somewhat local to me. It's definitely a nice sound. Not ricey at all. The look of the muffler, quality, and 5-year warranty were the decision maker!

Did your boost rise with the 3" T-back exhaust?

I don't really know. I really need to get a boost gauge installed in this thing. just don't know where to put it as i'm not really keen on gauges. the car definitely pulls much better. i imagine the factory boost solenoid will control the boost levels...it might be a bit more.

Some people are reporting a 1-2 psi raise in boost and others say the boost stays the same. I guess I'll find out in a week anyways.

My boost went up 1psi in the lower gears, and almost 2psi in 4th and 5th. I had to turn my boost controller down.

The car does seem to rev up a lot quicker than stock. The stock downpipe is so ugly in design. So many kinks in it.
