Will be looking to know whether it's an improvement over 20g-9-5 at boost levels <30psi ...

Awesome stuff, Dave, as always from BR!

Sleet, have you ever driven a 35R on a 2.0? It can get aggravating just driving around go drive one and let me know. As long as your getting on it it's Awesome, but just driving to the store with no power under 3K rpms is a chore.

Dave, I heard that current 20g-9-5 owners will be able to upgrade what we already have.

Is this true? Thanks!

I don't find it that bad.. The only time I really notice it being laggier is in 5th gear, but I downshift and it doesnt matter any more.

What helped me alot was spending alot of time tuning lower boost levels and part throttle driving conditions, it put me in load cells I'd hit in daily driving and really woke the car up alot... I think this is where most tuning is forgotten about and really makes a GT35r feel softer than it is in daily driving.. Its no stocker by any stretch, but with the right tuning you can get it to feel much better.

I'm actually keeping an eye open for this new turbo.. I have always liked the spool over big horsepower, and if it can offer a bit of both I might switch over to it from the 35r in daily driving.. (I have the ability to swap this stuff fairly easily now)

I have to agree.
This is the reason I pulled my 35R kit and slap the stockers back on.
Anyone wanna loan me money for a 2.3L stroked block? :}

It's not just 5th go try to take off in a 35R'd 2.0L in 3rd at 35mph and see how long it takes. Dave was just making a point.

Malibu it is good to hear that you are enjoying your's! It is a great turbo it seems lately people blowing off spool up with questions like "How is your spool on a stock 2.0 with a 37R? Is it laggy?" it just erks me a little.

Hmm, so... Would it be safe to say that this turbo might make around, oh, 400wtq on 93 since it's just above 450wtq on c16? If so then I would definitely think this might be comparable to a 50trim.

Or is my reasoning completely flawed? I want something that will run great on pump gas. I'm not willing to go all out race/meth yet at this point in time, and I may never.
