David,

This turbo seems to be very impressing and looks to be performing very well.. What kind of whp and mph can be expected from this tubo on pump gas 93?

Gotta start saving up for this!

I always thought it was the other way around, that you got surge when you had insufficient flow on the exhaust side.

I think a couple factors can play a role in surging, i was just curious...

very interested . . . . . . . . sounds to be a better option for the daily drivers.

Dave, test it on your car . . . . I just want to see the difference. I'm ok with a percent gain

It's definitely the real deal. Dave's numbers with his RS are neither inflated nor BS. They are very achievable in any "ordinary" Evo.

And Dave, thanks for confirming that the 20g-9-5 will be upgradeable. I'm definitely interested. You *should* have decent weather at the track tonight. This crap is supposed to move out and give way to sunshine and nice cool temps.
Ok wait. Both your cars went the same mph yet he has no balance shafts, ported head, revolvers, ported TB/intake mani, and less weight? Is your car magical? lol

^ Instead of Drives: a badass EVO, I suppose mine should say Drives: a magical EVO.

Really though, maybe Dave can comment b/c I can offer no explanations.

Actually, it's kind of upsetting b/c he went 11.1 @124. To me, that means with that mph I *should* be able to go 11.1's. Oh well, I can desktop dragrace all I want.

The new Turbine wheel is still the same size, just different design

^^^^^ Where did you hear this?? The turbo is called the 20G-9 "Large Turbine." I'm pretty sure this would mean that the turbine is, indeed, larger, right?

When you are turbo limited, 90% of the fancy mods become irrelevant. Dave is absolutely correct about this. To be honest, I'm just glad he is still replying to this thread despite its embarassing signal to noise ratio.
