So I sold the DSM...and on to getting an evo
and I am about to buy an Evo 8 because im 20 yrs old and cant afford a 9. Is there a big difference between the 05's vs. the 03-04's.....I remember reading this along time ago but cant find the thread. Also im going to be modding right when I get it so tell me If I should go a different route than this:

Helix o2 housing
GSC 272 camshafts
AMS MBC
Turbo XS FMIC w/ Helix upper/lower pipes
650cc injectors
walbro 255lph fuel pump
Intake
Tein S-Techs..maybe???
Ported Exhaust Manifold

everything else sounds like you're on the right page though!
^ the 05's have a larger exhaust side of the turbine. 10.5cm vs 9.8cm.
Ditch the S-techs, they make your car handle worse than stock. Get tanabe gf210s or hotchkis.
The upper intercooler pipe wont really gain you any power, so you be the judge on that one.
Lose then injectors, theyre not necessary.
If you get an 03-04 get the 10.5 hotside for like $250, its worth it,
For the intake, just buy a cone filter and save money. AMS buschur and Apexi are all good choices.
And if you are upgrading cams, personally I would go with something more agressive. Talk to AMS about it if you want.....

i have the gsc 272/272 combo in my car and i felt a RADICAL difference when switching them out. for 500 bucks, they are a solid investment.
btw with cams and a turboback, you might want to look into getting a better clutch. our car comes with a crappy stock one.

Hey guys thanx for the info....I've never heard of GRE but i'll look it up! I was just going to get the injectors and FMIC b/c i was planning on going with a 20g-9 in a couple of months b/c I was reading and dave @ buschur says he is comming out with a new one the "20g-9LT"...It looks pretty good from what I have read, but there is not too much info on it yet. and thanks for the heads up on the Helix pipes!

I was planning on going with an ACT2600. My plans with it are basically to get into the 11's and maybe around 380-400whp. Im not trying to go too crazy b/c it will be my daily driver.
