Car wont start after O2 sensor installed
Ok yesterday i had my o2 sensor bung welded into the o2 housing for my gt35r buschur kit, i installed the o2 sensor back into the o2 housing and put it back on the car then took the neg battery terminal off the car to reset the ecu and i went to go start it and the car wont start. It turns over but just wont start up. I made sure i didnt leave anything unplugged and nothing was missing. HELP! this is my only mode of transportation. (before i had the bung welded i just had the sensor in the hole where the bung now is and the car was fine.)
Check the fuse for the ECU and see if it's blown. If it is, and it keeps blowing everytime you attempt to start the car with a new one, then you may have dammaged your O2 sensor (or wiring) and the ground fault is blowing ECU fueses. The car will crank, but not start. Replacing the O2 sensor with a known good one is a good remedy if this is indeed your problem.
One possibility of many.
