I would dyno your car before then after turbo install. So you yourself can see the truth.
DO A SEARCH!!!! Im not gona do it for you.... Its is a good upgrade..Who cares who tuned it..Theres a guy here that went to the track with an 05 a while back and swapped a IX turbo and gained 3mph in the 1/4!!!!

Well that doesnt say anything. He couldve done some other modding. You dont knwo that. Also track conditions could make a huge difference in track times. Also tire pressures, weight of vehicle, driving techniques. Hell someone could gain alot more than 3mph with better driving alone. I knwo cause I did. The same night when I first got my new setup I went to the 1/8 mile and I first went 9.3 @ 80mph than after some practicing my last run I went 7.7 @ 94.8 mph. I didnt change a dam thing about my car its all driving technique. So again until I see dyno sheets its all heresay to me.

Ok man, you seriously need to stop your childish antics. You claimed something; I simply told you to prove it. You went on to still argue with heresay. I claimed something and I proved it to you with not only from a established tuner, but also from another member who just posted his experience with adding the hotside. So you tell me what you want to beleive? Sometimes people like to be ignorant of the facts because they are so concentrated on the notion that they want to be right. Good luck to you.

evo rc, when you get your turbo on could you please post your dynosheets before and after? Thanks

The OEM 16G IX is an excellent turbo for ANY Evo VIII, whether it have the 9.8 or 10.5 hotside. It's an especially good mid-range power upgrade for those running nothing but pump. If they weren't backordered by 4 months I'd already have one on my '05 VIII.

Hey thanks turd. I appreciate the great info. However, a few problems. WE never get an actual baseline and then a dyno with just the tubo mod. They have always done the dyno after a couple other mods. So again I cant really say that it was the 9 turbo itself that made the power. The norcal evo one was I guess the closest however, if it baselined at 265whp then dynoed at 300whp well not only did he mod the turbo but he also put on cams, o2 housing, exhaust, 720cc, and walbro. I would like to think that hp was made fromt he other mods since it wasnt tuned before.

However, I am going to leave it at what I saw myself. And that was a vehicle that dynoed the same before and after the turbo upgrade and thats all we changed. The car was completely the same befre and after. I will try and get alfred to post the dyno sheets

Dont you read? The 265 was WITH those mods already.. The gains were from adding the turbo and tunning

.From the tuner: The customer's car baselined at 265whp. We added only the EVO IX turbo and the ECUTEK tune.

Oh and this was on ****ty 91 oct and the car WAS CATTED
