CLutch pedal....high engagement
CLutch pedal....high engagement
I have 25k miles now on a mostly stock evo 8. STill have the stock clutch and I feel the clutch engagement is a bit high. This calls for a pedal adjustment I assume.

For those inquiring minds
The right adjustment for an EVO is a bit on the high side for my liking when the clutch is in good shape. However a worn out clutch in addition to slipping, will also exhibit higher engagement/disengagement point than normal so if it has gotten higher, beware. To adjust it lower will not help anything other than your comfort in driving, but adjusting it too low will cause premature wear on the syncros especially if you like shifting as high rpms (like 7k). I hope that helps.
I haven't been experiencing slipping. Just wanna get the engagement to be just a tad bit lower than the high side and I don't wanna get it too low.
Simply try it a little lower, but be careful not to go too far and understand that if shifting at high rpms is affected, you need to adjust it higher.
