Ses P0507

So I was coming up on boost in 5th, boosting about 23 PSI on the freeway, and I get a small pop, like Fuel cut no problem I have fuel cut on my EMS at 24psi, so it might have seen 24 and took a dump. But the engine died at the same time. I rolling restart it, and get no bad noise (like spun bearing or other blown motor sounds).

Car seems to run fine, until I get off the freeway and the idle is sticking at about 1500 rpms. Small panic. Check all intercooler hoses and vac lines, nothing. Rip out the EMS and throw in the stock ECU and drive arond hoping to get a CEL. Finally, P0507 idle higher than expected. Do a search, nothing definitive. Help! What's next?

I have been driving with a CEL for the past few months. The code is 0505 - idle control system malfunction. havent found a cure yet. the car drives perfectly normal. CEL comes on a few days after clearing it - usually when the car is sitting in traffic. my idle is ok. mitsu service recommended I change the TB, but I do not want to part with $700+ just to (maybe) get the cel to go off ...

I could be that the IAC is being run all the way to the end of travel in order to get the idle to where it should be. Check that the throttle plate is closing all the way and that there is a little slack in the cable when the throttle is closed.
