It IS interesting that all Mivec Cam vendors HYPE their product and NOBODY posts a dyno sheet yet...

A friend is getting tuned this week, so I shall find out if they will make any HP on a highly tuned IX with every bolt on there is this week. I have a suspicion that the 11% number is not gonna work for him though

Unfortunately, it doesn't take "a few days" to post a graph. If he had time to make a whole thread about the "awesome gains" while using an account that is not a registered vendor, then I'm sure he has time to post a graph...I mean really, how hard is that?

Are these cam unavailable to you??? What haven't you done an eval on them yet. You have a dyno. Do you hate Cossie or something?

Nah I think people are just sick of the ninny BS that every vendor with IX cams has given everyone thus far. TELLING us what gains there are from the dyno yet no dyno sheet provided, which takes just about no effort if they already tested them on the dyno LIKE THEY SAID THEY DID.

For me personally it just raises a little suspicion.

it will be intresting to see the graph i made bone stock 269.8whp and 260TQ at the turbo trix dyno. I added all the stage 1 stuff since then so i am eagar to see the gains from that. which i am guessing 30whp. So 30 ro 40whp from cams sounds alittle fishy to me

if its like the rest of the kits out there, you should make around 25-30% more than stock baseline (HP) in similar conditions. The gains as per works should be around 30HP from what I heard, which if you guys are putting out 270WHP with a stock IX is also around 25-30WHP...

With that said, back to the topic.

11% from cam swaps is incredible. I havent spent alot of time looking but are there published cam specs or cam card info that is available for these cams? I mean before I would part with 1,000 dollars I think that would be a reasonable bit of research. I better not hear proprietary as the answer either.
They are only 1k if you get springs and retainers. Vivid was or is selling these cams for $645 shipped.
I would buy these in a heart beat if I had the money to spend right now (work is sloooow).
With 11mm lift on a 272 duration, with a 20g and spinning the h*ll out of it... over 8k on some C16... I think close to 350's or higher whp on a mustang dyno could be seen with a custom tune... this is just my thought.

Yes thank you for pointing that out Jeff. I should have been clearer when I said 1000, I meant cams and retainers. Why get cams that have high lift and high rpm potential and leave the rest of the valvetrain stock.
