I think a post like this (a non-vendor trumpeting results and then not actually posting any results) should be an instant ban.

^ well you seem pretty worked up about it if the results are so "dumb" But this is pathetic. I mean its really not THAT much to ask to get proof of claim is it? I know cosworth is trustworthy but actual real world non fluffed results would be a nice change in this hobby filled with half truths, and false claims

+1 Ban Works for teasing and not providing any results

I think we are witnessing the first hints of what I'll call "vendor fatigue." Instead of whipping people into a frenzy with teases and implications about a certain product, now people are getting pissed and saying "F-U." Don't come to the table if you've dropped the steak along the way. Many of us (me included) are getting tired of the antics. It's the old "How do you keep a stupid person in suspense?"

It did say "results will be posted in the next few days" on the Works forum, so lets just see if charts show up sometime this week... They are probably giving a % in power gain rather than a whp number because different types of dynos get different numbers, and there are too many variables... i would think that you would see the same percentage of power increase no matter what type of dyno you use, rather than a similar whp increase in that case... I am also really excited to see some charts, whatever the type of dyno they use, just to see for myself how well these new cams do, and if they really put down that kind of power i am for sure going to buy a set!! Lets try to be patient and see the promised charts when they post them... they said it will be a few days, so I'll give them a few more before I join in on all the *****ing

I guess one of the problems is.. what is happening during this period of "waiting"... more dyno runs? new graphs? I mean they could have done that anyway, but still why start a post and not give all the information (regardless if they said in the 'next few days') =)

This is 1 reason why I would never EVER buy from Works... everything they sell is over priced... is NOT proven to make any power.
I wanted to by these cams, but ain't buying from them
Its the same way with GSC... in a way. I was looking for specs for there intake cam and they don't have any, like its top secert or something I wanted to compare the 2 before desiding on which ones to buy

A friend is getting tuned this week, so I shall find out if they will make any HP on a highly tuned IX with every bolt on there is this week. I have a suspicion that the 11% number is not gonna work for him though
