Well keep us informed, I know you'd sell a few. Even if the 6 speed still broke
and you went with a 5 speed, it still wouldn't hurt to have a cooler so it wouldn't
go to waste.

i would also, (well as soon as I have the funds). Otherwise I'll go by razorlab's parts list and fabricate my own.

I'm sorry for bringing this thread back from the dead but I want to update..I started this thread when I didnt know much about the car and I have some info..

The 6 speed that broke had an Aftermarket clutch. it didnt do anyting to 4rth gear it was like destroyed all over the place...Who knows. My opinion is it was a bad Clutch install. Think it was a ACt clutch by the way.

As far as my 6speed..it's flawless. I have done countless WOT runs, launches and spirited driving. Still running strong on the stock clutch and 4rth gear feels just like it did when I bought it.

Talk about panic attack lol...Now I know why everyone tells me not to read to much on the forums.

Haha no worries, as far as I'm concerned this thread is far from dead. There's a lot of us waiting to see what happens with razorlab's oil cooler temperature results.

I think it's in this thread, but I could be wrong. Just look up his old posts, and you should find it.

Personally, I hope he and GST fab up a kit for this. I would be willing to drive up to San Fran and have them install it

to bring the thread back from the dead..

my 6spd just broke, during a full throttle run trough the gears... I just changed into 4th, and it blew big time... then I heard two more major bangs from the drivetrain.. and all other gears apart from the first went also.. It even broke the rear diff casing..
the car is a stock EU E9 6 spd, with about 380 HP (at the fly..) NO drag racing and about 3 trackdays per year..

I don't really think this thrtead is dead but there is alot of people hanging out for sheptrans gear set for the 6 speed to see if this is going to make a difference along with an oil cooler.
I volunteer for being the guinea pig on both combined when possible!

what was strange for me is that it did not break on the circuit, it could not overheat because I had a easy drive trough the town and on the first run trough the gears it went BANG...

I found a 6 spd dogbox.. for the MR casing, but that is too much for me..
