After reading various thoughts on this thread and dataloging first hand with my friend on both of our EVOs, I would have to say that there might be something wrong with the car and not the flash. I would venture to guess that it is likely that there may be something wrong with the cars fuel system, maybe a failing stock fuel pump that isn't able to keep up with the amount of air flowing in? Or even clogged up injectors?? .... I would guess both scenarios would lead to overly lean conditions that would cause pinging .... A wideband would tell us what is really happening ...

Playa, if you read the referenced thread, you find that it's a systematic problem, not an isolated one...

Any more info people? And did Works give their opinion to anyone? I have the P2 and have had no issues. I have not however had the car dyno'd nor has any data logging been done. This concerns me a bit. Should I be worried?

WORKS tune or not... you always want to monitor your engine with all
the proper tools.

My car seemed to run fine, but the knock sums were quite high in the upper RPM's (problem since fixed). And no, I don't have a Works flash. You can only know what's going on when you log the car.

I sure hope you don't have 92 in Florida...it should be 93.

generic reflashes FTL... great way to make money off people.

If you want your car tuned... take it to a LEGIT tuner and have YOUR car tuned.

Are you implying that WORKS is not a qualified tuner?
