yes. it was my lower intercooler pipe where the connection meets the turbo inlet. check all of your intercooler pipe connections. On the factory intercooler piping there is alot of connecting points that can come loose. I hope this helps you

Do you mean the black "lower discharge" pipe that bolts into the compressor housing; or the actual lower intercooler pipe's connection to that black lower discharge pipe?

Unfortunately, I have recently replaced both and the car is boosting a lot better but the noise persists...

I will do another leak down test Friday to see if I have missed anything significant, otherwise I will do my best to ignore it.
