I told the guy I am buying the short block from the thing about the rods and he said he will use JUN connecting rods

Shall I do it??

In sports compact they had a nice review about TODA...

Advice needed!! Toda seems very tempting

holy crappp that's soo much extra money! i mean unless you reallllllllly wanna do todas...

i wouldnt do it .. unless your getting a RETARDED DEAL

the toda stroke alone is $3,199
only to have to buy new connecting rods.. and you going to get JUN's?!??!

Jun connecting rods are $1,299 that's INSANE

$4,498 not including the empty 4g63 block and all the labor...

when AMS and Buschur (both retardly gooooood companys at what they do) sell their stroked short block for $3,250 and with eagle rods (good for 500hp) ... plus $300 and you can get Crower rods (good for over 600whp)
so totaly $3,550 for a short block that more or less just need to be dropped in and your stock head thrown on

there was something else about the toda kit I think it had to do with the clearance on the pistons and having to machine the skirt for thm not to interfere with the oil squirters.

Save your self the trouble and go with AMS or Buschur etc

You have make a wise choice. My advice is go with AMS or Buschur. If you go with AMS upgrade to Oliver rods.

Good luck.

Have you seen Buschur's resume? That should speak for its self.

AMS is good too, so it JAM. If you go AMS get the Oliver rods, if you go Buschur get the Crower rods.
