k here are my mods...a HDI Intercooler kit with the up an lower pipes..welded on hks ssqv..hks rs intake..weapon r engine torque kit..walbro 255lph fuel pump..bm short throw shifter..rsr dp eliminted cat rsr exmag gt2..hks hipermax rs coilover kit..and a ams custom tune with a launch controller set at 5k rpm..and everything else is stock..the car has about 56k miles on it

over the summer ive done some street racing on a stock clutch and flywheel..i knew my clutch was gonna go with the launch controller set at 5k...but 3wks ago i was driving my car down in chicago..i live in the milwaukee area an its like a 2hr drive..but anyways my wife an me was in the car it was about 12 in the morning...an all of sudden 5th gear had popped out..at first i thought my wife had knock it out with her knee when she was reaching for her coat in the back seat..so i didnt say anything...then when i put it back in 5th and gave it a lil gas it popped out..so i started to freak out..because i was holdin it in all the way home..it got worst an worst..it started to make a loud whining sound..an it was hard for me to shift into gears...so now when the car is parked i start up the car and let go of the clutch pedal it jux whins really loud..i havent had it check out yet..havent had the time its been snowing crazy an its cold outside...but if u guys can tell me whats wrong with it..thinking about gettin exedy twin disc..or cusco twin disc...

i have a evo9 turbo hotside 10.5..invidia o2 housing..gt spec manifold..hks 272 in/ex..and hks cam gears..apr head studs put away until i find out whats wrong with the car..

rite now im driving my wifes car a 07 camry se with the trd kit...so im tryin to get my car fix so when spring time comes around i can cruise in the evo..

 

Well, I think you have a transmission problem not a clutch problem. But, since the tranny has to come out, it becomes a perfect time to do a clutch too.

hey dave, haven't heard from u in a while around the rockford area. U got a lot of mods listed there, but dont u still owe Frank some money for ur tow from hot import nights in 2005? It was $400 i believe.

 

pull the tranny send it to shep for a rebuild put it back in with a new clutch ACT HD or Extreme ( i can get you a good price on it), and the car will be like new, most likely your tranny is messed up bad
