About the most I have seen from 50 trims is around 500WHP on C16. So for another $1000-$2000 you get about 50whp, ~500RPM more lag, and less low end torque. I am sure there are some for whom that would be perfect, but for me the FP EG is looking like the right choice. . .

As for the boost hump with the HD WA, I bet if target boost was up around 28psi or so, that would go away and you would have a nice, pretty flat boost curve, tapering a little bit at the high RPMs. Also, if you were controlling boost electronically, you may be able to tune in more low end boost. Not sure. . . as I have only used MBCs before. . .

I thought the Evo Green was advertised as being able to hold boost?

At 28 psi I feel that this turbo would be way beyond its efficiency...Remember to make power it is not only about making pressure with the turbo compressor at the manifold but also the turbo has to be able to pass that pressure through the hot side after the combustion cycle....If it can't, instead of power all you are producing is a lot of hot pressure at the manifold...
You are correct, an electronic boost controller would have probably helped the low end.

They are. FP always comes out with a Green first and then a Red to follow up...Just an FYI.

Going by the graph it looks like it is spiking 23 and holding 20 by redline, then maybe falling off after 7500rpms.

Going by the graph There is no "spike" just a gradual increase of pressure in the mid range caused by the wastegate spring tension.....

I still don't see what all the fuss is about. The turbo will put out a extra 40whp give or take a little over a maxed out stock 05' with a minimal increase in spool.

If you want more than that get something bigger. 125+mph traps can be had with this turbo again if you need more go bigger. Turbo seems great to me for it's intended purpose.

i'll believe that when i see it...there are now two cases of guys running meth injection and getting around 415 DJ numbers...with the guy in this case getting around there assuming a 12% translation from DD to DJ.

even going from a bestcase scenario of 15%, not 12, going from 425 whp to 475 is a hell of a jump.

According to the first chart is spools to about 23psi then tapers to 20.

Second chart it peaks 25psi in the midrange then tapers to 21-22.

Where are you seeing 20psi and holding it?
