thwack.. thanks for you info... and no the gear isnt half engaged bcuz our catch points are sooo high there is no way hittin the clutch halfway down could keep our car in gear.... but thanks every1 for the replies... ill c up at altered on sat thwack

yeah, we can diagnos (maybe) but we are just as new with the car as anybody else. and most of us dont have experience with opening and fixing transmissions. mitsu tech's do, and they also work for your WARRANTEE. thats all im getting at. and im referring to how you disengage the gas while you disengage the clutch when shifting. if you dont do it right, in some cars it will clunk and make sounds, ive done it before. i'll get on the gas, then let off the gas and press the clutch at the same time and its kinda rough and clunky. i may not be explaining it right, but its a driver error. but it does not happen all the time, it happens rarely.
