misfire code need help

i got a service engine light a few days ago and assumed it was from my exhaust. i finally had it checked out at some autoshop today and found out that i had the P0301: Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected code. the car only has 6000 miles on it and it is an 2005 the only mod is a catless turbo back exhaust. what could of caused this and what do i need to do to fix it so that my car isn't harmed?

I would suggest pulling the plug out of cylinder one and checking it as well as the coil. Do a good visual inspection and see if anything is out of the ordinary.

search its very common problem, more common on the 03 and 04 cars though. the DP isnt hitting anywhere is it? remove the battery and hope it doesnt come back. if it becomes a regular problem i believe the dealer can reflash your ECU to help.

I got it once on my 04, that was when i let it idle for a long period of time.
