Haha i know, between you and tom, my discipline to not mod my car for a while won't last long.

Now how in the hell is this thread informative when everyone is arguing? The way I look at this problem between the 20 vs 50trim is different then anyone else. That diesn't mean it's wrong, it's just different. Everyone should get what they like and what works better for them. My friend just got the BR GT35R kit and I got my FP 20G. I really don't know how the cars are going to react or who is going to win. All I know that once he builds his internals and puts some race gas in it, it will be over for me but thats ok. I can't afford to spend $3,000 for a turbo kit, another $1,000 for FIC kit .... etc.... I am happy with my 20G. I get what I paid for.

Finally.... If you want to pay around $1,700 then do this...

Send your Turbo to FP with your headers and let them do a port job on your headers and coat your headers and turbo. You will look stock and many people that don't know how a Evo looks under the hood will never notice you have a upgraded turbo. "Sleeper hahaha"

If you have money to pend around $ 5K then be my guest and get the 50 Trim or 35R. I will respect people the same way I did before.

We should have a friendly wager on how much the 20g-lt will make on Adams car with some race gas.

I'll Start. I'm going to say about 458whp at 29-30 psi.

Are we talking on a mustang dyno... if so then that is basically maxing out the FP right?

I say 465whp@29-30psi. Reason being, Adam is only running 21 right now, so with a nice street pump tune, should hit 420whp@23psi.....

Add leaded gas, 6-7 more psi, more timing, I see more than a 30whp increase to get to 450.

are you sure about that? i thought they could only change the evo9 turbo to the 20g-lt

are you sure the evo8 turbo can be changed into it as well? (i have an 05 with the larger hotside, if that makes a difference)

LOL! i have to admit i m the first one to regret getting the 50Trim after seeing how blockhed79 fpgreen performs and his dynograph is the 'perfect' graph i wanted all along (quick spool and able to get 400whp on pump).

Well.. now i have an excuse to do a 2.3L stroker to compesate the slower spool

blockhed79: lets meet up at yr "private close road" and do some runs when i m back from VA.

cant wait to see where in NJ there is a private close road with traffic lights

Turbotrix 50Trim. Well its not really that bad, but i really missed the stock turbo spool up speed. U will have to be in the right gear with the 50Trim everytime in order to make the car fast. 1st and 2nd is a joke to me on the 50trim.

If your race gas prediction is correct then maybe me running this FP green car would be a waste of time....
