Take the cage out of your car and reweigh it though I hate that hidden bonus from a cage

I can't wait to get out of bed and start 'lightening' it up. I've got about 20lbs coming off today, then I'll start on the seat installation.

Thanks Rish197. It's been a real thrill, from the very beginning. It all started with an email to David and a list of what I wanted. He sent me an email of what wasn't necessary and what he could do. Believe it or not, he still ended up saving me money over what I might have done. I've had some great conversations with DB, both at the shop and at dinner, and I can assure the world, this man does NOT push parts. He simply wants his customers to have the best they can have, for the money spent. This is not a sponsored comment, I have NO RELATIONSHIP with Buschur Racing. Just one hell of a satisfied customer. Thanks again David, but mostly for our friendship. (I was paid 2 cervezas to say that)

9sec9, you are more than welcome. As I told you, it was a pleasure working with you and WE appreciate you brinng your car to US. It was a great build. It is so nice when you take car from stock to this level all in one shot. Do the right parts the first time, no changes need to be made and you know what the results are going to be. Well in this case, I had no idea the results were going to be this good. The car is truly amazing.

Let me know how the car feels in a daily driven scenario, like with 93 + Meth.....
Thats the path I'd like to take also with my 8.

Few pictures from today and DB showing me how to tune the AEM ....riiiiiiiiggggghhhhht
Car went on a 100lb diet today, it lost 37 in the spare, 39 in the front seats, and
24 in the tires and wheels. Stock IX seats are not as heavy as they appear. They weighed in at 35 lbs while the NRG replacements weighed 15.4 with brackets.

Last picture is a salute to the Buschur Gang.

Thanks Blue Evo 8, I've learned a lot from these forums and tried not to ask too stupid of a question. It's the combined knowledge of the posters that allows something like this to be dreamed and built. I hope to pass on anything that I can concerning the build so that others can build on it. Obviously, the tuning aspects are Davids so I don't feel at liberty to disclose any of his stuff. That's up to him.
Hey Jorge T, just think, you and Mike Staley started all of this. As for your dog, it's floating around with mine somewhere.

Hopefully for me to shoot close to your level of power I'll just need the BR Stage 3 head and block, ported intake mani and t-body, and the PT67 Turbo assembly.....
I have all the other supporting mods.
Dang looks like another $7000-$9000 to spend for parts and labor
