Strange boost problem

Here is the deal...

Under WOT at around 20 lbs I am getting a crazy amount of hesitation and the boost stops climbing and the car looses power.

I dont know exactly how boost cut feels but it seems like that is what is happening.

Mods:
3065
272/280 cams
dynoflash
alcohol injection
all supporting mods
HKS ignition

This i have done so far to remedy the problem:
reset ecu
check MBC and made sure it was completly up (min boost)(hallman pro)
topped off alcohol
verified alcohol spray light
*changing spark plugs tonight (they are currently br8es gapped at ~.029 and just changed about 4 weeks ago)

Problems
Boost controller wont go any lower than 22psi-when i go WOT the boost shoots up past 22psi to 25 and then stuttering happens

Things it could be?
Problem with the bov (1g crushed with dejon leak stop kit)
Problem with MBC (hallman pro w/source coming from side of wastegate(tial) and other lead to bov)
Plugs-BR7es .029 gap
Alcohol pump not spraying full output

Any help/advice with this would be greatly appreciated...thanks guys

well that was what i was thinking but I have the HKS ignition so usually you can run not as tight of a gap with an upgraded ignition.....

i was running ngk 7's at like .029 and the car started to break up, so i installed the 8's thinking it was the heat range. installed them, the car got worse. took them out and returned them for the 7's and looked at the gap. did a little research and found that they should be gapped at

.024-.028 depending on boost levels. more boost, less gap.

I would start by lessening the gap or changing the plugs with a new gap. 7-range plugs with the amount of boost you're running while gapped to .029 is crazy. I know the DLI-2 helps with that, but sheesh. Most of us run 8-range plugs with much less power than you and with a tight gap. I'd try some BRP8ES gapped to .026.

Thanks for your input Clay. I too think that it is the gap. I dont know why I changed the gap last time.....

The plugs make sense as the problem as nothing has changed on the car for a while now except for the plugs...

I will report back when I get the plugs swapped out, reset the ecu and be hopefully using mitsulogger...

Whats your thought on the boost controller Clay? Shouldnt I be able to adjust the boost lower than 22lbs with the hallman pro?

It is a Tial 44mm wastegate with the top port vented and the side port going to the source input of the MBC. The other line on the MBC is going to the bov.

It's not the Hallman making it only go as low as 22psi - that would be the wastegate, imo. MY Hallman set to minimum gives me base wastegate pressure = 11psi.
