misfire under heavy load
yes i searched didnt find what i wanted
just curious if in all this fridgid weather if anyone was having any drivability prob.
my car feels like its bouncing off my 2-step from 2500 to 5000 whenever under a heavy load. i think that i got a bad coil and the better charge from the cold air is really putting the coil in question to the test. (just an over thought theory)
im running the usual: tbe, intake, cams 272, exede, ttr tune. nothing outa the ordinary
im shure i'll diag. it soon (its what i do for a living just w/ bmw's) any input would be awsome though thanks in advance

all swell ideas... has anyone actually had any prob. w/ cold weather? every turbo hot rod ive had loves this weather (for obvoius reasons) my evo seems to be taking it as an overload of goodness
like when a horny little h.s. kid gets laid for the first time, he has gotta blow outa one end or his head is just gonna start shaking and blow off his shoulders!!!!!!!!

Standard answer is new plugs or lesser gap. If you can't control your boost, then it will fluctuate according to the weather without you being able to do anything about it.
If you get new Iridiums, you don't regap them. If you get coppers (NGK BPR7ES or BPR8ES/BR8ES), then gap them to .026 at first and gap closer if the sputtering persists.
