I believe Daves's new 35R kit may be the end all be all of the 35R kits. The trouble with Daves kits is that they are not as BLING as AMS, the cast manifold turns off a LOT of people. But it works VERY well and won't break like tubular manifolds do. it also keeps the cost down. Dave only gives you what you need.

I am running an AMS GT35R and i have to say i have been very pleased with it...Spool up is great, full boost (2.25 bar) built by 3600rpm or so..Ran 687bhp with a slipping clutch 2 weeks ago on this kit...

We can do a tubular, ceramic coated exhaust manifold as well if that is what the customer wants. It would change the price of the kit to $3695 and the ceramic coating is an additional $100 option.

Please post your log, I would like to see a 35R hit over 30PSI by then. That would be AMAZING.

Excel sheet using the raw data from the run..I only got one run on a slipping clutch before it let go completely..The RPM pickup was getting a lot of feedback hence there is no RPM fig only a speed reading. Had to work the RPM back from speed but its 100% accurate

Thanks for the input though.

Tomorrow hear comments like "On the mood a Dynojet's correction factor is the same as a Mustang Dyno on your Anus"
you being familiar with dyno's and having such a following, shouldnt you encourage people to use dyno's and there numbers to test/compare gains for a person to record there power. then from there make changes and use the dynos to test and record power gains, or loss', to help improve ones car.

i believe all dyno's are different with each model being similiar, but to have a "pissing contest" with who can make bigger numbers on different dyno's is silly IMO.

Excel spreadsheet to make a boost chart, I believe I have seen it all. A GT35r, unless hit with nitrous, anti lag or a 2 step is not going to hit 30 psi by 3600 rpm, end of story.

I've dyno'd plenty of AMS turbo kits here, it doesn't happen with theirs, ours or anyone else's. Not even on the planet youranus.

That's with third gear. The reason why it spools so soon, is because he has a 2.4L stroker kit.

To maintain stock like spool up time with a GT3076R turbo you should mate it with a 2.3L stroker kit. As for a GT35R turbo, combine it with 2.4L stroker for close to stock like spool up time. The British guys are really into road racing, so boost response is a key deciding factor over there. That's why many people are running strokers in Britain. Also, average speeds on the streets in Britain are much lower, so low end power is very important to them.

I would vote for a Buschur Racing GT35R turbo kit, because of the cast exhaust manifold and cast o2 housing. Those parts are much less prone to cracking than tubular.

David if you don't believe it thats your problem not mine...No Anti lag, N02 or anthing like that were used....

I was only saying what i found on a set of independant DD rollers conducted in shootout 44 mode...I am not saying your kit is bad in any way, i am sure it is extremely good...

You go and work out the RPM from the gear ratios for a std Evo VII and see if i am wrong wheel diameter is 225/40/18 3rd gear ratio is 1.407 final drive is 4.529

Note where peak tractive effort is on this graph as well.
