I've dyno'd plenty of AMS turbo kits here, it doesn't happen with theirs, ours or anyone else's. Not even on the planet youranus.
That's with third gear and a 2.4 liter stroker kit. Makes sense to me.

can't go wrong either way...if you don't care about "bling" (and even if you did buschur can make you a header), i'd save a lil dough and go buschur....if money wasn't an option, i'd do AMS

ams and buschur are both outstanding but they aren't the only ones that make turbo kits and installs and tune etc , this thread is always a hot top, but like dave buschur said go with what makes you happy. i have seen both in person and neither ams or buschur were A holes. my personal experience to buschur evos REALLY impressed me. i saw first hand at the EVO shootout 2006 how well the buscher evos can do. and a close friend has buschur parts on his evo and its been over 2 years and he is still HAPPY. the evo shoot was a great place to see who has what to offer. the choice is yours

The "GT37R" is a great turbo and does make more power than a GT35R. The power differences in the two are not THAT much though. We are talking about 40 whp or so. The response time on it is also slower, so it is laggier and takes more time to recover after a non WOT shift. There are down sides to the turbo along with the upsides.

With that said, it is one of the best "big" turbos I think you can buy and still run on the street.

With all of the posts concerning the GT37R (bb T-67), DB, I'm getting closer to bringing Panda-monium back up there and leaning on it a bit more. Dan is going to make some changes in gearing to the Buschwhacker tranny and I may stop off and buy a barrel or two of E85 to tune to. Soon, very soon.

Well there is more power in your car, that's for sure. Don't come up yet, the one issue I was having with your car.............I am working on it now and should have an answer in a few days.

I can't imagine that issue being a real issue. Ever hear of the term, "stripe-ed assed ape?" Anyway, waiting on fuel at end of month, trailer purchase, etc.

I would go with the AMS Kit. Outstanding products with an excellent track record.
