the evo aem ems, it is not the aem's fault, trust me.
this shop has really let me down! the only reason why i post here about what is going on is because most of you guys understand- so i am just venting.

if i revealed the shop i think a lot of people in socal would be pretty shocked, i think

which i might do AFTER i get the car back! for obvious reasons

don't worry, i am preparing a nice bible for you guys so you guys will know who it is and maybe i can get more people to come out and express their bad experiences with them.
as of today, which we are in the 7th week, they are now telling me that something is wrong with the idle motor which is why they can't finish my car at this time. i am not so much complaining that their are problems because it is bond to happen but to tell me this after 7 weeks. now if something went wrong with it the first week and it is taking 7 weeks to fix it or waiting for a part than yea, i would totally understand but this is obviously not the case. they are telling me about the problem after 7 weeks and now i might have to wait another 7 weeks! who knows!

Update:

as of today they are now telling me that they exchange the idle motor but did not get to see if it works-sounds like a bunch of bs if you ask me- who installs something and does not at least turn the car on to see if the ultra rough idle went away? so basically it has been 2 days since they diagnose my car with a bad idle motor and still have not fixed it even when they told me the replacement part is in hand.
and now they are telling me that they will not work on my car again til tuesday- so guess what? we are now going to go into the 8th week come wedsday. this is so much bs.

A bad idle speed control motor will usually just cause high idle or idle surging. Rough idle sounds like something entirely different.
