Guage ??

Ok I'm going with the triple center guage cluster and radio relocator. I know I need a Boost guage (o-30?)

but what other 2 guages would you get?
Oil Pressure and AIR FUEL? But what type Air Fuel?

And where is the best place/vendor to obtain Stewart Warner guages?(summit racing?) They seem to be the best for the money. At this point I don't want to splurge for guages that I might not like down the road.

Should I go with white faced or Black faced? And black bezels or silver? So many options that is the reason for waiting for high priced gauges(ie;Defi)....thanxxx....

Research dude. There are plenty of listing out there for what people think are pertenent. While i personally thing Boost/Oil Pressure/and EGT is important some one else might like Water Temp/Boost/ and AFR. It is all up to you, only get what you will need, gauges are expensive.

Update:

Alright dude you are getting a little carried away. Do the foot work and find out what your willing to spend and where to get it from. As to what faces to get on your gauges tells me alot about'cha, no easy answers around here. Find out what you like....don't let anyone else tell you.

Those 3 sound good to me check out 42 draft design they sell 3 gauge combos but you need a wideband a/f .
IMO get
boost,
oil pressure
egt or oil temp
Wideband a/f
Here is a link to the 3 pack from 42draftdesign

No need for "AIR FUEL" guage unless you install a wideband - which will pay for itself over and over. Narrow band O2 sensor guages are useless unless you want to monitor your O2 sensor slowly die after running leaded fuel.

Oil pressure would be good I guess, do they make a fuel pressure guage? I don't know, hell, all I have is a boost guage and tiny W/M LED, everything else can be viewed on my laptop like everything.

Hey Aux., is that your wife in the avitar or someone elses?

But it's really 2A6X6, damn electricians

Yes, I've done some research and have been over to 42 draftdesigns. I was just wanting other peoples opinions but not tell me what to do. I'm not like that. I personnally think Oil Pressure and Oil Temps along with Boost 0-30 will do for now. I know somewhere down the road I will go the high end way. All this is the prelude to installing a Boost controller. I had thought about an AEM Boost guage/controller. But am hesitant about the way it looks and integrates with the interior of the Evo. I am definately Function over Form but want everything to be neat/thoughtout and not thrown together as an afterthought.
I'm thinking Silver bezels with white faces, but wanted to hear what OTHERS that had installed aftermarket guages had installed in thier EVOs.

kreionic--thanks for the pics...looks good....EGT hunh? I was thinking Boost0-30 Oil Temps, Oil Pressure...explaination why EGT would be good for Evo...If you were to get wideband down the road that guage would be absolete?
Also anyone have experience with the AEM True Boost guage/controller??

Thanxxxxx...

Well the oil pressure is not a replacement for oil temp but the pressure gauge will drop dramaticly when the temp gets up to normal. The egt for tuning purposes. The wideband I have running to my laptop with no gauge I just log it. I will be getting a gauge for the wideband and that will be put on my steering wheel. You should look at the -30 to40 psi gauge. You never know what you might end up doing to the car. I recommend vacum in the gauge just another thing to see if somethings not working correct

Lets say I put Oil Pressure, Oil Temps, EGT in the center console/cluster. I could also do a Boost gauge somewhere else...ie;steering pod, a pillar...???

And it would be better to do a -30 to +40 psi boost guage? Alright now I'm getting it...much thanxxx...
