help me reach 400+hp or more

ok well im getting tuned in 2 weeks. my mods are

2003 evo 8

3''tbe 'with test pipe'
o2 housing
ported 10.5 hotside
ported stock manifold
hks rs intake
aps bov
fmic
u/l icp's
ARP head studs
forge waste gate
forge mbc
revolver cams springs retainers
cam gear's
meth kit running 100% meth
exedy twin HD
bpr8es gaped to .025
walbro 255 f/p
gas i will use is 93 oct

i think thats most of it.


looking for small fast mods to add that might help me reach my goal.
what else can i add to my setup to make and or brake the 400hp mark?? thanks guys for the tips and info. all idea's are welcomed.

nitrous haha...depends on the dyno though, if they mess with setting you can have any number you want...your car looks to be a high 11sec car once tuned...

well without the cams meth gears i ran 12.2 at 113mph with a 1.8 60foot.
this was a flash that was logged and then tweeked not a custom tune like im getting. and i think im getting dyno tuned on a mustang dyno.

there is no way you will see 400 whp on a mustang dyno. i dont even think you will see 400 whp on a dynojet.

you'll want a fuel pump and injectors

but you're not going to hit 400 with those mods

what TBE is that? ...brands do matter.

you'll need a bigger turbo

fyi...ported stockers dont give the best air flow

AEM EMS( tuned by D.B.), P&P head, 20G-LT, Full Race header and C16 on a Mustang Dyno, along with your listed mods, should break 400, even w/o drugs.

there isa mod i forgot. i have it and forgot to add it.


its a works 3 d/p custom 3 d/p back.

If you want more than 400 WHP on a Mustang Dyno, with the stock turbo and ECU/MAF, and on pump plus meth, you'll probably need a righteous tune, and lots of boost(like 28#+). At which point the stock turbo will just be blowing hot air. And I don't know if you can get the full benefit of the Revolvers on a flash, and through the stock ports. But good luck...... and at least, do the headstuds, and while you're at it, drop the pan and do the rodbolts to avoid walk..

lol another mod i forgot. head studs.

my tuner said he will try to tune it on a spike of 28psi. so i guess i am just spiking 28 for a sec but then droping and tapering from there.

and its not that i want it on that dyno. i just want the car to have it but i would not mind a paper that show's it. get my point a little better?

Evil, I'm just busting your *****. I'll bet you should get pretty D**n close to your goal. I just think that the stock turbo and MAF will be the limiting factors, as well as the pump plus meth. Maybe on C16 plus meth and 32#....At any rate, Good Luck!
