MR Turbo?!?!

You mean the 05 turbo right???? All 05 Evo VIII's (MR or not) have the same turbo with the 10.5 hotside...

Anywho....make sure you soak the bolts, maybe even over night, so that none snap on you during the removal...

Good luck with your 05 turbo...

Not sure what you mean by "MR turbo". Did you mean to say "EVO IX" turbo???

If so then you will need different oil lines and a different LICP.

Your sig says you already have a 10.5 hotside, which means you already have an "MR turbo." Don't waste your time installing the same turbo that is already on your car.

Edit: Damn, just noticed your sig ALSO says "05 MR Turbo." Man, I hope you didn't buy a stock 05 turbo from an MR owner thinking it was special. If you already have a 10.5 hotside on your 03 turbo, then you already have the same thing as an "05 MR Turbo" like I mentioned above...

I dont need to take it to a shop.......I know what I am talking about.....its a 05 mr turbo like it says in my sig whether or not its the same thats what I called it cause thats what it was advertised as.........if you do not have anything else to say besides bashing me then maybe you need to move on........thanks for who actually had something constructive to say.

I have right now the 9.8 hotside 03 8 turbo. maybe you all should read more closely thank you

His sig says "coming soon", so I think he didn't install it yet.

Why are you yelling at us? There is no 05 MR Turbo. You think because it was advertised that way, it means something? All 05s have the same turbo. It's the same turbo as your 03 except for the 10.5 hotside, which is just a housing. You purchase a 10.5 hotside and put it on your 03 - you don't buy an entire 05 turbo unless you just want to waste money. Why does your sig say you have a 10.5 hotside if you have a 9.8 hotside, and why did you buy an "05 MR Turbo"?

Yes, but why is a 10.5 hotside listed separately? It's part of the "05 MR Turbo," but all he needs is the 10.5 hotside by itself.

Don't be so insecure. Everyone in this thread was actually trying to help you. If you actually knew what you were talking about you would understand this.

You don't need oil lines or a turbo outlet pipe unless you are going to a IX turbo. LICP is unnecessary unless you are looking for more power.
