HKS DLI Twin Power - fried both Coil Packs?!
the DLI II has gotten a bad wrap, but I've had zero issues out of mine, going on 18 months and about 15,000 miles. But I also purchased a spare set of coils based on all the negativity associated with this unit, and so far, all the spare coils are doing is collecting dust.
Glad you figured it out, and it was something simple.

I JUST found the route of the cause. i had miswired the wiring harness and the positive wire got caught underneath the coil pack. it grounded the ignition and poped the fuse.
the good news is that the hks is still working

now you guys know, don't even risk putting the long wires extending from the HKS DLI unit anywhere close to the turbo manifold side of the engine. it is not necessary, the unit can be places many different areas but for me i placed it in front of the air intake cone in front of the battery and routed the wires behind the battery towards the spark plug connectors. the wires are long enough to be routed safetly out of the hot areas in the engine compartment
