Engine Configuration

In the US Spec Evo VIII, how are the motor and tranny situated? Is the motor on the passenger side, tranny on the driver's side, or vice versa?

You are correct....I have heard this is why all the rally cars are left hand drive across the world....for better weight distribution...the driver is in a different position to the co-driver

maybe just a rumour

4g63 second generation turbo

the 4g63 used in the evo is an updated version which is different from the mitsubishi talon in the US, well the engine is on teh pasenger side in the US spec evo and tranny in the Driver side,
have built many of these motors and they are strong motors.
however different from the old 4g63 used in eclips talon
