Unfortunately, almost all good awd vehicles currently manufactured are mainly japanese or german (evo, subi, porsche, audi, upcoming skyline, etc).

I would not worry about buying Chinese parts if I were you guys. Automotive production is slowly moving to the east due to competitive labor rates, improved supplier base & labor force, investment incentives, etc. In 10 years, we will all be driving battery powered cars that will be manufactured in China

Jokes aside, there are good reasons why toyota will become NAs 2nd largest manufacturer this year and why toyota, bmw & porche are some of the most profitable manufacturers taken their size & capacity in to consideration If you dont believe me, try and find world market data for % of cars manufactured in various countries within the past decade - interesting stuff

Which ebay fmic is it that you tested (from which seller)?
There are a few sellers selling different fmics.

Well said my friend....it boil down which part more cost effective and deliver goods...not where it comes from.

Is this one new to the market? I don't think I've seen that one before and it also has XS Power on the bottom in the picture.

i hope this helps the evo community make smarter decisions on how they spend their money. basicaly spend your money on what works.
buy a good ebay intercooler for $150, ic pipign should never be more than 100. tbe should not be more than $400

save your money on tunning, real garret turbos and good tubular t3/t4 turbo manifold(peakboost, full race, afi, sls)

with any aftermarket parts you always have a chance of some "custom" modification. If bending the bracket was all that doesnt seem to bad for the power.
