A race gas comparison is not a fair comparison. With good mojo a ratty as DSM side mount would perform well.

Yep, it does. To try and make it soak before I was doing back to back 3rd gear data runs. At the track I did a few back to back drag passes and the mph kept going down.

Don't bust my ***** I'm just an ordinary joe doing testing =/

I'd love to get my hands on an ams or buschur unit to abuse in the same way, so if either of you want to send me one ill send it back when I'm done hah, can't beat that objective testing.

Well this is variance in mph at the track. It could have just been a fluke that they went down gradually. Maybe your feet were getting tired, hah. What I'm truely wondering is why in your OP you said it "doesnt seem to heat soak easily," but then right above you say it "heat soaks like a ****."

And I'm spelling it out to you in plain english dude. I did back to back 3rd gear data pulls and didnt see any variance in knock count or power. Then I did drag runs, which builds a lot more heat and I started seeing knock and a lack of power.

What do you guys want? The truth or me to make this stuff up as I see fit? I'm putting the facts out there, I dont have a drag strip to test my car at, I have my little 1 car garage and my laptop and that's it.

Man, I understand your situation. Please don't get defensive. I'm just curious as to why you stated two phrases that directly oppose one another.

You get used to it after a while....what started out as a sufficient answer to your hp/tq demands soon becomes rather inadequate and you start looking for more....it never really ends.

The FedEx guy just dropped off my Ebay FMIC. Everything look good but the damn mounting holes on the FMIC are not the same as the stcok FMIC, or I think. I have pics below. I think I can make it work but I don't think it is a straight bolt up. I think I will have to make new holes in the frame to mount the IC. Also, I weighs 20lbs.
