HKS EVC V problems?

I was getting my car tuned the other day and i cant go past 24psi with my ebc. Anyone else have this problem? And what did you do if you did have this problem?

You may have to turn the gain setting up, once turned up you should be set. I had a similar problem with mine.

Yeah, turn the gain up bro. That boost controller is prolly good for 38PSI.

Whats that and how do you do it? I know the tuner pressed mode one and put it to 40 and mode two and put it to 40 and the warning level all the way up and it still wouldnt go past 24psi

It aint hard, go through the options on the unit and look for gain, then turn it up. Or look for instructions online.

take the vacuum line for the wastegate off the stepping motor to determine if its a boost controller setting issue. Make sure you can handle running more than 24 psi first ( race gas ). If the boost goes above 24 psi, you have a setting issue or stepping motor issue ( probably setting ).

ok im gonna try messing around with it. Im sure if it goes past 24psi it will be fine Im running meth right now 4g63s ftw! BTW thanks for all the input guys

Be careful bro. especially running meth. Dont crank up the gain and floor it. Gradually raise it. If you dont see any difference, raise it up a little more. Just be careful, boost is not forgiving.
