Hi: I drove my VIII around for a few months with 280/272´s, big IC, cam gears, O2 hsg., but just kept the boost below 18 PSI while I had my piggy back out for repair. You need to be conscious of engine knock though. That´s why I kept boost low. No irreversible damage AFAIK.

i did very few runs with the cams untuned.. now my ECU is sent to AMS .. it's taking time like a week or so, but i think it's gonna be worth it
but it's not recommended to stay untuned, better pay for tune, rather than paying for a motor ..

It will be lean. Stay out of boost when/if possible until you get it tuned. It will be fine to just drive around but dont beat on it.

not recommended, but you can probably get away with it. What other supporting mods do you have? Do you have a base tune for the supporting mods? If so, it'll probably be fine. If you have no tune at all, and all the basic mods PLUS cams, watch out!

I'd stay out of high boost if you can control yourself

Could be a fun month, but an expensive one at that!
