what clutch do i need?

On a IX with pistons, rods, bushcur 35r kit, intercooler, cams and injectors im wanting to know which clutch would be sufficient to handle this power. It is not planned on being a daily driver but it might end up that way. I would take it to the drag strip probably only once. So with these factors in mind what clutch would be best? And also is there any other supporting mods i would need? i already have tbe, mbc, intake. Thanks guys

A twin Exedy HD would hold that power just fine. Also I suggest stand alone engine management for your setup but it's not a "must have". Defintely a good ECU Flash tune. I'd also suggest an electronic EBC unless you go stand alone. Otherwise an electronic means of controlling your boost is a lot simpler and easier to control/adjust.

Only if you plan on doing high RPM launches. I'm running a 50 trim and have snapped an axle. But that was because I was being greedy and not launching like I should've. It's sudden torque transfer that destroys drivetrain parts, not high horsepower. With the power you're creating you'll need to be more cognisant of how you slip the clutch so as not to "shock" the drivetrain. If you do this you can make many launches on your car without destroying anything.

But...peace of mind is always a good thing too...

So ... if it's not necessarily going to be a DD, and you're only taking it to the 1320 once ... then what's the car going to do? Road race?

Exedy Twin Metallic HD is probably your best bet, though. Can hold a lot of torque and is still easy enough on the ole peg-leg to drive in stop-n-go traffic.
