After removing the clutch restrictor

I went to bleed the clutch. FIrst filled up the reservoir to the neck. I put in a speed bleeder in too. Then loosen speed bleeder and go in car to see the clutch pedal is all the way down! I guess it lost pressure. What to do?

Pull the pedal up with your hand. You'll need to cycle the pedal a few times with your hand until you've built up enough pressure in the line to spring back up.

When you let the pressure out, the spring pressure from the clutch can't help push the pedal back, so you just have to pull the pedal back up by hand.

So do this while the speed bleeder is loosened a little. Ok I got pressure to build up halfway and just kept on going till fluid was solid coming out. All is good and clutch feels so much better now!

As far as fluid levels in the reservoir go, its at the MAX line right now. Before I started all this it was between the MIN and MAX. Should I leave the fluid level at MAX or take some out?

1. Pedal pulled all the way up
2. Open bleeder
3. Push pedal down
4. Close beader
5. Pull pedal back up
repeat

With a speed bleeder,step 4 is unnecessary.

Another question I had in mind. How low should I let the fluid go down until filling it back up to the neck? Should the MAX line be the lowest that the fluid should go to?

Dont let it go to low or it will suck in air...I would keep it no lower than half full

Ok the clutch is bled, pedal feels firm. Fluid level is at MAX now. Is that where it should be or between MIN and MAX?

Happend to me, there is a divider in the brake fluid resivoir and the brake side can look completely full while the clutch side is completely empty. You need to fill the resivor to the brim then drain a little out later if you need to

Fill it up to the max line...

The clutch and brake fluid resevoir is a dual circuit system. when doing the clutch you need to make sure the fluid level does not go below the base of the filler neck otherwise you'll get air into the system which is a bad thing....

it took my brother and I a while to figure this one out....
