dip stick...low oil(HELP)
PVCC?
I called the dealership this morning...they said if its a blow by the ckeck engine light will go off and it won't run good. He told me to bring the car today for them to check. ( i also checked my dipstick again....its just a little bellow the lower notch.)

Oil level will be inaccurate with following conditions:
1) Not level surface (even slightly)
2) after changing oil without running engine for 5 minutes
3) Improperly dipping of your stick (bad)
Excessive oil consumptiono can be from:
1) Head (valve) damage
2) Piston (ring) damage
3) Turbo damage
4) PVCC messed up
1) and 2) may be diagnosed with an easy compression test
Are you smoking at idle?

1) is not easily diagnosed at all. Took a year to figure out on my car. Compression was always fine up until the culprit valve got really bad and I started to see smoke when lifting after WOT -> i.e. do a WOT pull, then clutch in, hold it for a sec, then shift into the next gear and see smoke coming out of the tailpipe. Until I replaced my head, the car would go through 1 quart every 600 miles...
Evovin, fill up the oil and just monitor the oil usage for the next few hundred miles. Don't beat on the car while you're doing this. If it goes through another quart in the next 500 miles, then you know you have a problem somewhere...

I know this debate has been beaten to death, but...
Change your oil yourself. Invest $30 in some rhino ramps from Autozone, buy the OEM Mitsu filter from the dealer parts counter (~$8 if I remember right), then go to Walmart, Meijer, etc and buy the 5 quart jug of Mobil 1 10w30 (usually ~$25). A half hour to 45 minutes later and you're done.
Plus, I find it very satisfying to have done the job myself. I also have the confidence of knowing that the job has been done right.
But then again, maybe I'm just more worried about that than most people. I think that even if the dealer would change my oil for free, I would probably still change it myself.

i change my own oil always have. i got the car with 1300 miles on her so i wonder if the break in period wasnt done right. but then again i think i started to noticed this when i turned the boost up to 25psi.
i'll be doing the compression test and a leak test for sure. i dont know we'll see.
