To handle 8k I did cosworth 272's supertech valvetrain arp headstuds and a greddy timing belt. and i know you dont need the timming belt to do it but i'd rather be safe than sorry.

I rev my stock block to 8k. you can rev a built 2.0 to 10,500 if you have the turbo (42r).

I friend made about 480WHP on his 2.0 motor and 30r turbo. Now he has the AMS 2.3 RR motor and the same turbo kit 30r and just put down last week 575WHP and it pulls sooo hard and make more tq. I want to do the same setup on my car now. The 30r spools up so quick and fast its insane on the 2.3 motor. He road races so the fast spool up is better. could make alot more power with a bigger turbo, but He and I both like the fast spool up with almost no lag

+1
I rev my stocker with cossi cams, valve springs and retainers to 8,000 RPM.
Revving to 10,500 Isn't limited to a 42R since the Procco EVO is doing that in a GT40R. I'm sending my motor to Buschur now to get his stage 3 so I can crank the boost and Rev high!!!
