hey guys, my plans are to build a 500 whp (DD as possible), and I am trying to decide on the best base. I have searched but every single post has either 2.3, or 2.4, or stroker, which makes searching not very good.

Right now I have a 4g64 block, 4g64 crank and evo8 head.


My concerns on drivability, eez of getting power, and RPM, which is an easy way of getting more HP.

What components are used in the 2.3 kits vs. 2.4 kits. And what are the rev limits of each, and what inhibits the rev limit.

if wou plan on just 500 build the 4g64 to a 2.4 and use a 35r with some sort of 800cc inectors and engine management, if you can afford it motec. The mynes shop ix is daily driven every day with 500 hp and these mods. it also has the basics, exhaust, intake, cams ect... but still a simple setup.

Later on if you planned on more hp just upgrade the turbo and fuel system and than it would be like my ix with 700hp on the same block
