Help me with my Profec B Spec II!
Okay I went to the track tonight with some race gas, thinkin that I'd run better as soon as I up the boost and make sure I'm not knocking. So after every pass I turned the knob up a couple percent. Well after a while, I wasn't getting any more boost.
Starting out, I had my set at 48%, gain at 9, and set gain at 27. It was doing 21psi and tapering off around 19.8 psi.
So then I started cranking up. I only turned the gain up to 64%. I was running 25 psi and tapering off to 23-ish.
After that, I just kept turning up the boost and it wouldn't boost past 25 no matter what.
I even had it all the way up to 100% and no difference.
What gives????

I've ran this controller for 2 years in my Evo and about a year and a half in my SRT4 before I got my Evo. Never had any problems with it. And yes, the cap is removed.
I haven't checked for boost leaks yet.
And I've had a MBC. I will never go back to the "oh it's cold out - adjust the mbc." Next day it's warmer and your setting is all off because of the weather.
I prefer to make the adjustments from inside the car on my ***. No stopping the car, popping the hood, fiddling with the controller and wondering if that's the right setting. If it's not, you gotta pull over again and pop the hood again. That was a major PITA that I will never deal with again.
