If your using the OEM ECU:

Maftpro
ECU+
MAF Transpro

Those are about the only 3 I can think of off the top of my head.

Search for "Blowthrough MAF" or "Speed Density" and you'll get your answers..

There is no cheap or easy solution, nor is it really necessary unless your making big power.

Do you actually know what the MAF sensor does? Your car won't run without some way to meter the air coming in. You have to replace the MAF with something, whether its with a speed/density conversion or a Ford/GM MAF sensor. The easiest and cheapest way is with the MAFT and a GM MAF sensor.

I am using the MAFT Pro with a 3" GM MAF in a blowthrough setup:

If you're running an EMS or something like that, where you can actually delete the MAF, you can buy that awful ebay 3" intake that bolts to the stock MAF, turn it around, and put a 3" coupler on it to use a stock airbox or AEM/K&N/etc. intake.

This is what I did to keep my AEM intake w/ my EMS when I converted to speed density.

Matt, please let us know what gains you saw by switching over to this set-up, as well as any changes in drivability noticed...

Thanks, I have been considering this as well, but only if it was worth the hassle.

I don't know about gains just yet. I'm still tuning and I just found out I need bigger injectors.

As far as benefits go:

I can VTA with no issues.
I have a full 4" intake pipe.
If I blow an I/C pipe off, I can switch to speed/density and drive it without too much issue.

I'm running MAFT pro speed density and it awesome. I'm running a 2.3 with 280 cams, 3076 turbo, and the car runs great at idle, and better on boost. No MAF here. I think it's the cheapest easiest way to go. I took off the exed. w/smart off for this and I'm very pleased.
