a friend blew his engine what do you think of this....??
what kind of alky kit is it?
A well designed WAI kit will not allow boost to build above WG pressure when it is turned off, or a injection fault or level of fluid is low.

frist off your friend is a ***in idiot/moron/terd/retard/dum****!
ok anyways...have him call AMS and get a block already built for 2.3 or 2.0...will be a direct drop in..i think theres a core charge but you can pay extra to not give them his core(since its damaged) from what i remember eric telling me thro PMs they do mail off a built block..direct drop in
just call AMS already

Sucks for your buddy --- expensive lesson. Now --- tell your friend to start comparing pricing and options on built motors from AMS, Buschur, JAM, or whoever he trusts. He'll have no core to exchange, so tell him to disclose that up front. After the new mill arrives and is installed, take the old lump and dump it on the lawn of the guy who blew it along with a sign that says, "You left THIS in my car." Let him clean up some of his own mess.
Again --- terrible luck. My condolences.

that would be funny to go dump the engine to his lawn it not a bad idea and yes what a terrible luck
well yes he will have to put the head etc on...of course..BUT the new bottom end from AMS is a core already built, balanced and blueprinted...so he drop it in and doesnt have the headache of installing, taking to a shop etc.
i think for the built 2.0 block AMS quoted me $3200...i could be wrong tho
