Car losing power in upper rpms

in first gear at around 6k the car starts to i guess sputter rapidly and loses power. if i keep on it through second it does it but not as bad once i hit 3rd turbo feels like it lags for a second and then hits really hard. im getting full boost. It is very unusual. I only have 17k on the car. i know this sounds unusual so i will try and take a video later. but if any1 has any idea what it could be id appreciate any input.

When you say sputter, do you mean the car is missing? What are your mods?

1) Sputtering = plugs
2) 3rd gear delay = clutch slipping
3) Having a TBE and cone filter with no tune is completely asiIX

Really quick sputtering is your plugs. If it feels like you hit a wall then that is fuel cut.

You have a IX so you cant switch to copper plugs, you are stuck with iridium. They are more expensive, but last longer than the coppers.

Your cone filter could be throwing off the MAF signal which is causing you to run lean. Get a tune ASAP.

That also is not your main problem. Did you miss my 1-2-3 post above???

Plugs = $40?
Tune = $300-400?
Clutch = $1500
