something wrong with my evo!!! need help..

...to the OP, firstly, surprised noone has told you this or i overlooked it, but search....i had the same exact issue and searched, i never delt with a slippin clutch, this is my third manual car now....so i immedatily thought it was some malfunction but was just the clutch...since than i got a ACT HDSSw/ pressure plate..shot out ot chris at no limit!! but yea, to save time, they are threads on how to install it...not sure if i recommend you do that too, but its a way to save....and also learn alot about your car in the process

Why would you get one of the highest maintenance vehicles out there if you can't pay for a clutch install let alone maintenance? I know "clutch" was not the answer you were looking for but it is what it is. In any case, if you're resourcefull you may get a couple of the guys on this forum to help you out with the install so you can save some money. Also your clutch install will knock off a ton of money off the 30K maintenance so you may wnat to do it first.

I don't know about any of you guys, but i sure did get a kick out of reading this thread.
I like it how some youngbuck tries to come in here and tell certain "veterans" how it is; and that the clutch isn't his problem. When if he had any car background whatsoever, he would have known instantly it was a clutch.
