I have to get mine back on the road also. My 16 year old motor with 61,xxx miles on it just couldn't handle the 800's on C-16 . Oh well, gonna be picking up my block from the machine shop sometime later this week.

Dang Trent, you beat me home! haha
No, Trent doesn't mean he is running meth injection, when he says STRAIGHT 93 octane he means STRAIGHT 93 octane. Absolutely NO race gas mixed in, NO alky injection, NO NOTHING.
The car made 525 on pump gas on OUR dyno at the Mitsu VS Subaru Showdown.
The car is running an Exedy Triple cerametalic clutch.
BR Stage 3, 2 liter
BR Stage 3 head
BF 272 cams
BR race FMIC
BR Stages 1-4
1,000 cc injectors
Single HO intank pump
BR GT35R kit with header
AEM EMS
As Trent says, he drives this car 61 miles each way to work a day, so over 120 round trip. Since he drives it so much the fuel mileage has been worked on too and the car has gotten just over 31 mpg on the trip to work. That was filling up, driving to work and filling right next to our shop.
Great job tonight Trent. Glad I could be part of it all, nice seeing you so freaking happy!

dxbevo,
We've done 3 builds now that I've been able to make 500+ on 93 octane alone on our dyno, ranging from 510 whp to 547 whp. The 510 whp was Trent's, which is what this topic is about. Trent's car has run 10.6 at 135 mph on just 93 octane.
The car that made 547 is the twin to my RS, that car could actualy be capable of a high 9 second run on just 93 octane. My car ran 9.97 at 142 with 542 whp.
There have been a few other cars we've done on E85 that also surpassed the 500 whp mark but as we all know E85 is a far superior fuel.

How do you account for the inconsistency in E85 though when you tune? What if you get a low octane fill, do you rely on the ecu to pull back timing? I think it is great you are helping popularize E85. I know some of the ECU guys are working on flex fuel adapters for the stock ECU which could really help this take off.

is that a full weight car? seems like it would take more like 600awhp to run 135mph not hating at all, just trying to wrap my head around that. 125mph would seem more like it.
