The HTA would have made more midrange power. I believe peak power would be the same between the conventional 35r and HTA

Suppose you're right. The average I see for that turbo on pump gas is around the 450 WHP area. That's really exciting it is so capable without any special fuel.

Soon2BEVO, TRENT is what makes ME sick!! Think about it, he gets to drive the **** out of David's car, then he can get into his car and drive the dog out of it. Let's see, which bish do I want to drive today? Think I'll take the white one. Oh well, some get to play and some of us have to work. If Trent wasn't such a nice guy, I'd kick him in the knee cap next time I saw him.

That is one sick video right? I mean seriously, what's the chances of even seeing a Carrera GT on the street, the car is almost $500,000, I give the owner credit for having the ***** to drive it let alone race it. Then add to that how often that trio would ever line up next to each other for a race! haha Ford GT, Carrera GT and an EVO! Then the EVO takes the win! I love it.

Yeah Ive yet to see a Carerra GT on the road. I actually got to race a Ford GT when I had my EVO, that was badass! But man, whooping on both of them simutaneously... thats just friggen awesome.

+1 Me either! Anytime someone produces above average numbers EvoM members always want to question the validity of them. I guess this keeps everyone honest but sometimes people refuse to be convinced because they are confined to their own experience or even worse yet, something they've read or heard that may or may not even be true.

I don't know how it would do on straight pump gas against the GT40 and Carrera GT. In the video he was on C16. I'd guess on straight pump gas the outcome would have been different but maybe not as bad as you'd think. Remember, even on pump gas this car has gone 10.6 at 135 mph.

On pump gas it would have been a very close race, Dave's GT should trap in the mid 130's as well. That was one fun night, didn't get home til 7:30am or so.

Here is a vid of Dave's car heading home, the sound of it at full boogie is very arrousing.
