What's "Buschur" boost control? I assume if it was just a Hallman or something then you would have said that. Maybe I'm onto something

Planetknowitall,

Here is what I wrote:

"The car with the T4 ETS 35r turbo kit on it should have made big power from the T4 housing but was equipped with a Perrin FMIC that was gaining 49 degrees of intake temps in a single gear pull, so it killed the power potential......."

Not sure what exactly you find so funny. The car gained 49 degrees of intake temps in a single gear pull.. What exactly is impossible about that, genius? The owner of the car is actually going to chime in too.

The boost controller on Trent's car is our standard Buschur Racing Manual controller. Not using the AEM to control boost.

Jasil, the car he has is seriously a Colt?

It, thermodynamically, does not work in that fashion.
I hate to break the news to you but its true. I saw it with my own eyes. Car started off around 101 degrees, by the end of the pull, it was at 149 degrees. I watched it happen, literally sat in the car and saw it. We also saw Chris's car gain 20 degrees as well. THEN I saw logs from Trents car and Daves own car where they gained 7 degrees.

If you want I'm sure DAVE could post my log on here but its prob not worth his trouble as you'll prob say something like he edited the numbers or something. Please dont speak anymore about this subject unless your going to think before you type.

So lets get this straight, the car is rolling away on the dyno ready to do a pull?
The log shows 101 degrees of "intake" temp? Where is the sensor located?
After the pull the it was 149 Degrees of "intake" temp?
Where was the sensor located?
Are you both sure they were "intake" temps?

On a wild guess here I am assuming that someone with a Butcher FMIC tested as well. Did his/her intake temps go down? Where was the sensor located?

Also did any of the cars have the ability to actually measure pressure drop and or actual CFM of airflow?
Some of these factors or variables would be great to post as well.
Thanks and "Please dont speak anymore about this subject unless your going to think before you type"

I knew you were going to be one of these idiotic technicality people......are you sure it was "Intake" temps.....go away and don't come back. You know exactly what happened the sensor is placed after the oultet of the IC one intercooler showed 7 degrees of temp. increase the othe showed 49 degrees stop doing a play on words. This is simple no reason to attempt to mix words and complicate things.

Why don't you actually wait untill the question is answered or read a little bit yourself. You may be surprised how UNtechnical it really is. That is the whole point. But I wouldn't want to break your little heart now would I...?
